Centralia offers a variety
of opportunities to expand your mind in retirement.
| The beautiful Kaskaskia College campus
is located on 200 rural acres just 5 minutes west of
Centralia. The college offers innovative programming
that includes the Seniors College, Lifelong Learning
Institute, and other Continuing Education programming.
In addition the college is the home to several fine arts
programs with a variety of activities offered year round. |

Good news for retirees... Kaskasia
extends a waiver of tuition and activity fees to residents
of the district who have attained the age of 60 at the time
of registration. That means your classes are free!
The University Alliance through
Kaskaskia College has partnered with 12 colleges and universities
around the country to provide education at the masters and
baccalaureate level This allows local residents to complete
their educational goals without the restrictions of time
and distance.

The Centralia Regional Library District features
one of the original Carnegie libraries beautifully preserved
in a park setting near downtown Centralia. The library
offers many volumes of new and classic literature as
well as periodicals and services such as basic computer
skills classes. |

| The South Central Regional
Technology Center, located in historic downtown
Centralia, offers state of the art technology. All
community members are welcome to use the facility
for needs ranging from basic Internet access to photo
editing and scanning to meeting accommodations. |
