Fairview Park spans
40 acres and offers an outdoor swimming facility, lighted
tennis courts, softball and baseball diamonds, horseshoe
pits and a recently added skateboard park. Many enjoy
using the roadway that surrounds the park for walking
and jogging For the young at heart there are swings and
slides in the children's area.
Over 250 acres of nature can be found
at Foundation Park on Centralia's east side. Miles of
hiking trails provide both exercise and the chance to
enjoy the beauty of Mother Nature. For those more relaxing
days, the park offers a 2 acre pond for year round fishing.
With wetlands, a restored prairie and naturally designed
picnic shelters Foundation Park is truly a local treasure
to be shared by both the young and the young at heart.
For those who enjoy bowling, Bank's
Bowl has 24 lanes of bowling and 4 pool tables.
Besides open bowling, numerous leagues offer the opportunity
